Freeman Maple 'Autumn Blaze'
Acer × freemanii 'Jeffersred'
Freeman maple is a natural cross between two native maples — red maple and silver maple — and 'Autumn Blaze' is its best-known variety. It combines the fast growth and toughness of silver maple with the brilliant red fall colour of red maple. Please note: it is a hybrid of two native species rather than a wild native species itself, and we label it that way.
